Job Description

Forward is looking for a results-driven sales professional, who is self-motivated and hungry for success.

The role requires a highly organized,  dynamic, analytical, creative and client-focused individual, with a strong background in sales and business development, who will maximize media revenue and profits for the group. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Media Sales revenue – Digital Display, Branded Content, Sponsorship, Creative Solutions,  Programmatic/ Data
  • Adapt to new business opportunities, create sales solutions,  and present these to market
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with Agencies, Trading Desks, independent trading desks and other demand sources
  • Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy
  • Independently build and manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts

 

Qualifications

Essential

  • Fluent knowledge of French language and English
  • Extensive experience in driving media sales revenue, and negotiating at a senior level
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Demonstrable experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating deals in this space

Desirable

  • Ideally coming from an agency or publisher background 
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot, and make strategic business recommendations.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Previous experience in travel, technology, and/or consumer internet
