Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for a Corporate Planning & Reporting Manager for its Strategic Business Planning & Control team based in Chiasso.

Key Responsibilities

Support Head of Group Planning & Reporting in the below activities:

  • Participate in the management and constant improvement of the Company Planning Processes (such as Budget, Reforecasts, Long range Plan).

  • Coordinate & Ensure timely and accurate delivery of the Group Monthly Closing figures

  • Manage, upgrade and evolve processes behind Business Controlling activities 

  • Ensure quality and reliability of data in the Reporting phases

  • Cooperate with Administration and Management Accounting Teams in order to ensure end-to-end governance of processes.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and translate results into readable and effective reports / presentations

  • Support Investor Relations activities

  • Collaborate in structuring the Competitive Intelligence function and running respective tasks

Qualifications

Essential

  • At least 3/5 years’ experience in a similar role or consultancy firm

  • Degree in the economic field.

  • Excellent command of Office system (specifically Excel) and Power Point / G-Slides 

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

  • Good command of English

Preferred / Plus

  • Good knowledge of an ERP / Reporting system like Tagetik

  • Understanding of digital business metrics

  • Previous exposure to travel online business

  • Experience in M&A, deal making, advisory
