Job Description

As Market Manager, the key objective is to guide expansion of’s network of hotel partnerships, establishing and maintaining account relationships. The Market Manager leverages their experience in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management, and the hotel/travel/hospitality industry, generally, in order to manage’s hotel market and market partnership-related functions. Additionally, the Market Manager is expected to identify trends, optimize pricing, ensure content competitiveness and identify and secure potential sources of supply to satisfy consumer demand on storefronts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong supplier relationships and convincingly explain the strategic benefits of the products to grow bookings, revenues, and gross profit in assigned markets

  • Evaluate existing partnerships and determine actions to optimize performance

  • Recommend and execute strategies and promotional activities with hotel partners to maximize accommodation availability and content competitiveness

  • Decide on promotional campaigns and conditions/criteria for participation

  • Identify, prioritize, negotiate, contract, and onboard non-participatory hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, while conducting regularly market visits

  • Conduct bench market research for existing and potential partners

  • Research and troubleshoot rate and availability issues preventing hotels from maximizing booking performance; 

  • Train and inform hotel partners on technologies, tools, and models

  • Develop and implement solutions to unique challenges

  • Prepare presentations and materials, not only for regular weekly/monthly supplier reports


Skills & Experience

  • Fluent Dutch v.g. English and German written & spoken

  • Three - five years of experience in sales, and/or revenue management, highly preferred within hospitality industry (OTA channels)

  • Success in acquiring, building, and maintaining long-term customer relationships 

  • Adapts well to changing and dynamic workplace and industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence external/internal stakeholders 

  • Travel industry contacts within relevant destination and market is a plus

  • Possesses creative and innovative instincts and the ability to translate ideas into reality

  • Strong problem-solving team player with analytical, and planning skills
