lastminute.com is looking for a talented and committed Management Accountant, who can help to perform monthly closing activities and to improve internal processes.
This role, reporting to the Management accounting manager, will suit either an experienced accountant or a part-qualified accountant with at least one year of experience working in a Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
Elaborate, analyse, verify and control monthly closing data
Perform cost accounting analysis, provide support on accounting matters and create necessary entries to support the drafting of the Group’s financial statements
Monitor and verify financial entries in the ERP system and support the implementation of ERP systems for new and existing product categories and activities
Support in developing financial systems, policies and processes in order to identify potential improvements and automate manual activities
Understand the requirements and specifications of new projects, set up schedules, define sources and tasks, keep track of deadlines and progress, collaborate with other team involved in the project
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, engineering management
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
Excel advanced knowledge (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, ecc)
Good knowledge of an ERP system
Fluency in English, both written and oral
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Desired
Experience in travel agency accounting
Experience with Microsoft Navision (NAV) ERP software
Experience in one of the big4 audit firms will be considered a plus
A third language will be considered a plus
