Job Description

The Chief Business Officer will drive the success and continued growth of business strategy with focus on innovative solutions to engage customers. 

He/She will act as a true business partner to the Chief Executive Officer to support the company’s ambitious growth plans, business partnering all parts of the business and supporting strategic initiatives. Critical to the success in the role will be a hands-on, open and mature business approach with the aim of adding maximum value. The successful candidate will build strong working relationships across the company and with the Chief Executive Officer. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and develop commercial strategy for the respective business lines
  • Understand how to drive commercial revenues growth across different markets globally 
  • Support the team to build, maintain and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead commercial negotiations in the different regions
  • Manage business reorganisation in sales departments
  • Be responsible for P&L
  • Support the Corporate Strategy and the OTA’s CEO for all M&A related processes (including business acquisitions)
  • Support the OTA’s CEO in defying the business strategy

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience on investment process: origination, analysis, due diligence, execution and exit
  • Execution and management of transactions from Investment to Exit
  • Negotiations of term-sheet, SHA, SPA and other documentation
  • Experience in fundraising, including equity, debt and more complex structured financing products
  • Experience in overseeing of investee companies
  • Experience as member of Board of Directors
  • Experience in mid-cap to large companies
  • Knowledge of russian language and market 
  • Capability to monitors and takes into account business results and processes of own team to assess success and identify improvements
  • Comfortable with change, early stage and high growth environments
  • Gravitas, credibility, and influencing skills to build trust quickly
  • Driven and motivated self-starter
  • Confident, well-organised, self-motivated and output focused

  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Autonomous, self-starter who is happy working on their own but can also work effectively within a close knit team 
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, uses initiative and a problem solver
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with a committed, always-on attitude. 
  • Able to maintain a high level of productivity under pressure, whilst retaining strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator both internally and externally
  • A solid understanding of media metrics and experience with analytics platforms
  • Passionate about digital media advertising and creative solutions
  • Excellent manager of your own time
  • Fluent Business English
