lastminute.com is looking for a Junior Air Fares Analyst for its team based in Madrid.
You will be part of an experienced, passionate and dynamic team within the Flight Supply department working towards offering our customers the best deals and most relevant airfares available in the marketplace.
Your core responsibilities will be overseeing the performance of our flight providers to ensure we get the cheapest and error-free Air Fares and to solve any lack of content issues (eg. supporting the integration of new carriers and/or routes).
You will also act as a point of escalation for the Customer Care department, identifying trends in recurring issues and working with technology teams on long term fixes.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse data to identify patterns and suggest actions to improve bookability, increase conversion and reduce the error rate of our flight providers.
Manually investigate, track and resolve Price Matching Issues and Booking Issues.
Identify opportunities for more automated solutions to be implemented by our technology teams.
Manage and optimise internal settings to solve any lack of Air Fares content.
Support technical discussions with our flight providers to optimise the integration and improve overall efficiency.
Essential
Degree/experience in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Travel or similar fields.
Fully proficient in Excel
At least 1 year of experience working with responsibilities similar to the ones required in the position and the requested tools (excel)
Ability to influence others supported by great communication skills (to share meaningful insights and propose actions in an accurate and clear manner).
Strongly motivated and proactive, willing to learn and to bring new ideas.
Fluency in English as it will be your day to day working language
Desirable
Familiarity with digital and e-commerce business
Previous experience in an Online Travel Agency, Airline or Air Fares Aggregator
