We are looking for a bright and driven, junior digital advertising sales professional who is self-motivated and hungry for success. The role will see you work closely with the wider UK sales team and account managers, managing and selling end-to-end digital ad campaigns across lastminute.com group and Travel Alliance brands. You will look to establish and develop your own client portfolio, selling high performing digital advertising solutions to both media agencies and direct endemic clients.  The role requires a highly organised, dynamic, analytical, creative and client-focused individual, ideally with a background in sales and business development, who will help maximise media revenue and profits for the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help support the senior UK sales team and drive UK media sales revenue – Digital Display, Branded Content, Sponsorship, Creative Solutions, Programmatic/ Data
  • Act as a primary contact for the implementation, delivery, optimisation and reporting of client campaigns
  • Accustomed to 5 external meetings a week
  • Adapt to new business opportunities, create sales solutions,  and present these to market
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with agencies, client direct, trading desks, and other key demand sources
  • Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy
  • Independently build and manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts.


Skills and Experience


  • Experience in driving media sales revenue, and capable of negotiating at a junior to mid-tier level 
  • Experience in digital advertising and digital business development
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal business divisions to deliver projects in a fluid and effective manner
  • Demonstrable experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Interpret data proficiently and present analysis and recommendations accordingly 
  • Availability to commute to the London office
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent business English.


  • Education to degree level; 2:1 or above 
  • 1+ years experience within the digital advertising landscape   
  • Established contacts within UK media agencies and/or coming from an agency or publisher sales background 
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating deals in the digital ad space
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot, and make strategic business recommendations
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Previous experience in travel, technology, and/or consumer digital advertising.
