Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for an HR Organizational Development Manager that will report to the Global Chief of People&Culture and will act as the overall expert in delivering Organization Design and Organizational Development capabilities to support the transformation of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed analysis of as-is organization and diagnosis, including also benchmarking and gap analysis.
  • Develops and constantly nurtures an Organizational Framework for Change Management, assessing needs ahead of the start of transformation initiatives, working also with external partners to ensure change and adoption are top priority on the execution agendas.
  • Supports in organization design initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvements and enhancements in line with business objectives and priorities
  • Delivers pro-active analyses in support of organizational optimization.
  • Works on selected initiatives in terms of process mapping and improvement, designing new processes and ways of workings
  • Evaluate both strategic and operational opportunities; frame them into specific initiatives; and obtain support and input from leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Synthesize insights and opportunities into clear and compelling presentations and updates to be shared with internal audiences 

Qualifications

  • Min 8 years participating in Organization Design or Organization Development projects, either as Internal Expert or Consultant at international level.
  • International environment and matrix organizations experience, with strong visibility and exposure, understanding global strategies rolled out to local needs
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration, and ability to connect with all levels in the organization
  • Sound experience in leading organizational assessment and gap analysis to identify key design drivers/ requirements across several dimensions, such as processes, structure, roles and responsibilities
  • Analytical skills to elaborate scenario analysis and related business cases (incl. economics).
  • Experience in applying change management practices and methodologies to facilitate the adoption of org plans and change initiatives in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong business & people acumen.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and work across multiple functions and levels and in a matrix organization
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency in Italian and other languages is a plus.
