Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Affairs trainee that can join our Legal department.

Key Responsibilities

  • assisting the organisation of board and shareholders meetings for each subsidiary of lastminute.com group (e.g. scheduling, call notices, first draft of minutes and filing);
  • first drafting of powers of attorney/proxies and confidentiality agreements;
  • assistance to the corporate affairs team in specific corporate transactions (e.g. audit, M&A, due diligence, new-co incorporations, shares/assets deals etc.);
  • cooperation with finance dept. for annual accounts approval processes and assistance to the corporate affairs team for the relevant follow-up activities;
  • assistance for anti-money laundering directive representations and similar mandatory fulfilments;
  • support for the related parties mapping process and any activity linked to SIX Swiss Exchange fulfilments, e.g. insider trading regulations and code of conduct rules;
  • managing administrative internal processes linked to the ordinary business of the corporate affairs department (e.g. purchase orders, confidential signatures collections, insider trading mapping)

Qualifications

  • Preferably at least 1-year experience in law firm and/or in a company legal department
  • Fluent in English and Italian language
  • Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
  • Proactive team player
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, uses initiative and problem solver
  • Work to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
  • Strong communicator internal / external
