Job Description

A new opportunity has become available for a finance professional to join our Investor Relations team. We are looking for an Investor Relations Junior Analyst to proactively support lastminute.com’s Investor Relation Officer (IRO) in the effective communication of information between lastminute.com and the investment community.

You will play an integral role in supporting all areas of the IR function, including assisting the IRO and Executives to interface with investors and analysts, providing timely, accurate and effective communication of the Group’s business activities, strategy and financial performance to ensure that the lastminute.com case is well understood by the market.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with departments across the business to develop a group level understanding of lastminute.com and build knowledge of equity markets. Over time, this role will evolve to become the initial point of contact for investor and analyst queries.

Responsibilities 

  • You will draft and help prepare capital markets communication documents such as earnings presentations, financial press releases and reports, collaborating with internal Corporate and Business teams as well as external advisors
  • You will organise investor meetings, roadshows and conference participations
  • You will work with Executive Assistants and directly with Executives to allocate time for Executive involvement in investor meetings and events
  • You will track and evaluate lastminute.com’s Investor Relations interactions
  • You will maintain the IR CRM system with accurate records of all engagements and notes of meetings
  • You will analyse and summarise the Group’s sellside analyst coverage and assist analysts in their requests
  • You will prepare internal reportings to feed back the capital market perception into the Company
  • You will monitor market trend and lastminute.com’s competitive landscape through interactions with other lastminute.com functions and external parties
  • You will support in the definition and set up of processes, deliverables and tools for improving IR activities

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance major would be a bonus
  • Fluent in english and german (additional languages are a plus, especially Italian)
  • Digital native who is comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • First experiences in IR gained from an in-house IR team or advisory, the sellside analyst world or Corporate Communication desirable, but not essential
  • Very strong communication and analytical skills
  • Reliable team player, able to work very accurately even with tight deadlines
  • On site or full remote worker with ability to some travel 
  • A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Enthusiastic to apply aptitude to new learning experiences, positive attitude, commitment to excellence and integrity
  • Are happy to challenge the status quo
