Job Description is looking for a Product Owner for its Global Hotel team. Global hotel is the bed bank owned by lastminute, which represents a sure advantage against other OTAs. The platform has to serve both hoteliers with connection and extranet, both lastminute as an OTA that face the final customer.

Development team today is all based in India, but as far the candidate can work with that timezone, the role is open for several locations in Europe.

Product description:

  • Candidate will have an opportunity to grow accommodation portfolio 
  • PO will be responsible for building a product for hotels to manage their online presence on
  • In addition PO will look after the team daily functional/product requirements provided by stakeholders
  • Help stakeholders with solving daily problems related to properties online presence

Key Responsibilities

  • Cooperation with another product owner and a product manager to meet company’s OKRs 
  • Supporting development team in their daily tasks
  • Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders.
  • Defining product features according to customer needs.
  • Leading the development process.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing and prioritising product backlog items.
  • Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the goals of each sprint.
  • Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release.
  • Identifying areas of improvement.
  • Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.



Technical experience:

  • Previous business analyst or product owner experience (at least 1 year)
  • Nice to have technical/IT experience, like:
    • Base knowledge of SQL
    • Excel knowledge
    • Understanding  API documentation
  • Previous experience in Scrum teams/development
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in travel industry 


  • Experienced in hospitality industry (hotel experience, OTA, channel manager, CRS, booking engine  or similar), or experience at a hotel/chain e.g. distribution manager, revenue manager, e-commerce distribution manager 
  • Experience with hotel/OTAs extranet is a nice to have skill.

  • Work in multicultural diverse environment & different time zones
  • Full working proficiency in spoken and written English is the must
  • Great communication & people skills (managing a lot of stakeholders)
