Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for a Payments Operations Specialist for its Payment Operation department.
The Payment operation department is responsible for the performance of payment systems and the entire ecosystem behind them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of annual Purchase Orders (POs) and their monthly updates, and as needed, increased budget placement on individual vendors
  • Management and control of payment vendor invoices and related interface with providers in case of issues
  • Testing and use of new MID or payment methods and modify setup of existing ones
  • Monitors Payment conversion via reporting tools
  • Daily check of booking highlighted by the alerting system
  • 2nd level assistance for payment issues raised by customers coming from Customer Care via email and chat
  • Manual fix of transactions impacted by system misalignment and errors.

Qualifications

Skills and interests

  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets
  • Good communication skills in English both written and spoken
  • Strong customer service mentality with first-rate attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail and able to evaluate and prioritize tasks
  • Interested in growing in the field of online payments
  • Proactive mindset
  • Self-driven and self-motivated team player.

Desirable 

  • Basic Knowledge of MySQL
  • Previous experience in online payments.
