Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated AB-Testing Data Analyst to join the team. The candidate will have the opportunity to become a key member of the team leveraging analytical skills to produce actionable insights and improve business performance. Specifically, the person will have the chance to follow end-to-end the entire life of the AB-Testing, from the configuration to the final statistical analysis. Additionally, the candidate will have the chance to span across the entire data ecosystem to research, study, and highlight untapped business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Business and Product in order to plan, monitor and analyse all AB-Testing
  • Designs insightful tests (length and dimension, KPIs to be monitored, AB-Testing methodology) that adhere to testing best practices
  • Prioritises and maintains AB-Testing calendar to make the best use of available traffic and to avoid any conflicts between tests
  • Provides statistical analysis of each experiment to understand the impact on the key KPIs defined in configuration phase
  • Thinks on how to iterate, proposing new possible AB-Testing exploiting all the business knowledge already achieved
  • Communicates and presents test results, insights, and recommendations to all levels of the company, clearly and concisely
  • Cooperate with other Data Analysts and Machine Learning Scientists across the company on joint projects, to identify and exploit synergies and to preserve/improve governance on data and on business knowledge



  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physic or similar fields
  • Good knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them via analytical languages (such as Python)
  • Strong knowledge in SQL-like languages
  • Strong knowledge of Excel or similar tools
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence decision-makers through presentations of analysis
  • Good experience in visualizing data  


  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience with Machine Learning (Supervised and Unsupervised learning)
  • Willingness to cover end-to-end the data lifecycle, from raw data to insights
  • Knowledge of data modeling and best practices related to analytical databases
  • Familiarity with digital and e-commerce business
  • Previous experience in the travel industry
