Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for a Head of Planning Reporting and Cost Base Control for its Corporate Planning & Control team based in Chiasso.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, Manage and Improve the Company Planning Processes (such as Long Range Plan, Budget, Reforecasts).
  • Coordinate & Ensure timely and accurate delivery of the Corporate  Monthly Closing figures.
  • Prepare monthly reports on key business indicators to Functional Managers
  • Manage, constantly upgrade and evolving the Business Controlling model and the reporting contents and systems in accordance with the business needs.
  • Control  Company Fixed Cost base (Hr costs and Opex) ensuring a proper resources allocation.
  • Control Capital Expenditures spending and evaluate the return on investments of the key company projects.
  • Ensure the quality and the reliability of data in Management Reporting,  in cooperation with Administration and Management Accounting Teams.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis/reports.

Qualifications

Essential

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in the economic field.
  • High knowledge of Office system (specifically Excel). 
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 
  • Good knowledge of business economics.
  • Good knowledge of an ERP system / Reporting system Tagetik.
  • Good  knowledge of English.
