Job Description

The Co-Marketing & Partnerships team is entering a strong phase of growth and innovation within the lastminute.com Group. As a pure-play business development team that leverages off the strengths of the lastminute.com brand and technology, the opportunity for Co-Marketing and Partnership activities are almost limitless as the company continues to grow into new and existing markets.

In order to strengthen their execution in both Italy and abroad, the team now needs to integrate new members, who must be able to quickly learn - "on the job" - how to manage the various micro activities necessary to reach the full implementation and execution of  multi-channel projects.The ever-changing environment is really stimulating, but on the other hand requires a strong ability to adapt to specific needs with a positive mindset, in order to help the team achieve its goals.

The successful candidate will support the UK Brand Partnership Lead in all sales and proposal activities for the B2B services of the lastminute.com group. The responsibilities include:

  • Researching prospective partners
  • Organising first meetings
  • Working with the UK Brand Partnership Lead to successfully negotiate key partnerships
  • Tracking KPIs and economics of promotional campaigns and analysing the results 
  • Analysing Co-Marketing, Promotions, Benefit Programs and Gift card markets
  • Carrying out competitor analysis in each business sector
  • Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders involved in all Co-Marketing Team projects (Admin, Customers assistance, Legal, etc.) in order to guarantee the successful activation of partnership activities
  • 80% in the London office, 20% visiting partners in other main EU countries (DE, FR, SPA).  Availability to travel for short periods for individual projects could be discussed.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience within a sales or business development position with a B2C focus.
  • Sales and business development experience of B2B channels is more important than sector knowledge
  • Experience working within the promotional industry would be beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of main online marketing KPI and general web dynamics 
  • Strong public speaking, negotiation skills and ability to summarise critical points (elevator pitch)
  • MS Office: Good knowledge of excel – specific know-how of pivot tables, graphics and data management functions
  • Language: English at proficiency level - French or German would be a strong plus
  • Google Docs: ability to create clear and complete presentations
