Job Description

Our media department, and especially our Client service team, offers a supportive, fast paced and exciting environment, responsible for delivering our client’s advertising and delivering outstanding ROI. We're looking for a motivated individual to take a hands-on role in all levels of digital advertising operations for our clients within the German market working alongside our Sales and Ad-Operations team.

Our media campaigns are across various travel categories, mainly flights, tourism boards, hotels and theatre clients on a pan European and global basis.  We are also currently building an advertising proposition for non-endemic clients, such as fashion and retail which appeal to our audiences. We are looking for a highly energetic team player to join an experienced and successful team.  The role requires a customer focused, analytical, individual with a can-do attitude, accurate reporting skills and great attention to detail.

The role is part of the wider ‘Travel People’ team at media hub and the successful candidate will have significant responsibility and become a key member of our international team

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with clients and sales to set achievable and valuable goals for individual campaigns and advertisers. This could include branding targets of engagement metrics, click performance, leads etc
  • Plans client activity through’s ad-server and calendars to forecast, check availability and confirm bookings
  • Ensures the full delivery of a campaign as ordered
  • Oversees the creative development process for customer campaigns where not provided by agency, make recommendations on the creative and optimize based on client goals
  • Manages an integrated mix of marketing tactics including social, community, email, editorial contents and display advertising.
  • Works with our Audience Acquisition team to deliver traffic requirements
  • Provides campaign reporting both internally and externally
  • Ensures the success of campaigns against agreed KPI’s 
  • Conducts detailed campaign performance analysis for example, against other campaigns, across site(s), inventory types, audience segments or targeting options to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance
  • Plan and implement tests that produce statistically significant results that can be used to improve campaign performance
  • Schedules campaign optimization recommendations
  • Produce presentations on campaign performance showing trends, analysis, learnings and actionable recommendations with the goal of retaining and increasing client spend



  • German native speaker or equivalent level ; fluency in English is a must, a third language is a plus,
  • Experience of DFP or other ad-serving technology (desirable but not essential)
  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills and Highly analytical
  • Numerate and strong maths skills
  • Min. Bachelor's Degree specialized in Marketing, Digital Marketing or equivalent relevant business-related fields
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate workload to meet deadlines and SLA's
  • A fast learner who can work to tight deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Highly motivated to work in the field of digital advertising
