Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for a Meta Search Manager for its Marketing Team based in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of performance for the meta hotel and packages channel for all the brands of the group
  • Recommend solutions/best practices
  • Identify integration gaps and involve relevant teams for the resolutions
  • Identify growth opportunities and manage relationships with Meta websites
  • Manage relationships with the different business areas involved on specific projects
  • support internal sharing of knowledge through training and coaching
  • Defines KPI´s/OKRs and responsibility within the team 
  • Performance optimization of meta search partners
  • Management of existing relationships with metasearch websites
  • Scouting and onboarding of high potential price comparison websites through networks or directly
  • Identification of needed features and improvements to be added to our API, pricing and bidding technology
  • Launch and management of new meta partnerships, negotiations of conditions of contract (economic, strategic and technical)
  • Develop your own product knowledge as tools and product evolve/change
  • Build/manage monitoring tools to ensure speed, accuracy, completeness of meta results, compliance from our partners, and quickly identify any issues related to those attributes
  • Deliver performance reports and insights to the wider marketing team and internal stakeholders including in-depth cost and performance reporting.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Proven performance marketing campaign management experience (at least 1- 2 years, SEM or META campaigns)
  • Fluency in English
  • Good analytical skills, including data manipulation and strong excel knowledge
  • Web analytics experience (Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Webtrends or Coremetrics)
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of complex data from multiple sources.

 

Desirable

  • Relevant subject degree in maths, economics, e-commerce or digital marketing
  • Experience in the travel industry a plus
  • Additional languages
  • An understanding in SQL, Tableau/Spotfire is a big plus
  • Experience and interest in other Performance Marketing channels (mainly Metasearch but also display, Search, Remarketing, Affiliation)
  • Be passionate about Performance Marketing
