Job Description

We are looking for a post-graduate Marketing Executive/Project Coordinator with experience in working in an entrepreneurial, collaborative and dynamic environment. Someone who can work alongside the leadership team of Playbook (and our partners) in the delivery of projects both internally at Forward and externally with our clients. This person will report into our Commercial Director and work alongside the senior leadership team of Forward as well as our strategic partners to deliver great work, prioritise workflows, design client projects and create new capabilities for Playbook.    

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand our proposition, inside and out, knowing what makes the brand unique and why potential partners should believe and trust in us helping them embark on their own in-housing journey. 
  • Help shape and express stories of our work, and curate a portfolio of case studies that represent the range of our work, people, capabilities and impact.
  • Work alongside our internal teams at Forward to extend our marketing capacity and capabilities.
  • Work either as a team member of or an advisor to client project teams where marketing and communication expertise is needed.
  • Support internal marketing strategy projects for the Forward business on strategic projects/campaigns
  • Shape client engagements. Managing the consulting team and resources accordingly. 
  • Join relevant events, panel discussions, talks and roundtables to raise the profile of our business as well as your own in the industry.
  • Work internally with the leaders of Forward on cultivating thought leadership articles, shaping and coaching on messaging and presentation.
  • Become a key member of an entrepreneurial business within an award-winning marketing services company.

You’ll be our first hire and a key member of the team behind the Brand and the consultancy services we offer.

Who you are

  • You possess a consistent record of designing, interpreting and delivering projects, within agreed timeframes.
  • You can correctly estimate projects timelines and always ensure that you have all the data and assets our team needs in order to deliver to or exceed client expectations.
  • Have the ability to build and sustain momentum, and keep an eye on the big picture while managing the details.
  • You  are proactive in finding solutions when things don't necessarily go to plan, thinking on your feet and tackling challenges head-on, showing empathy for both your clients and internal teams at Forward.
  • You are ‘media savvy’ and have a passion for digital marketing and can naturally step into projects that require a high level of marketing expertise.
  • Iterate on the value proposition for the brand and identify use cases that resonate with our customers.
  • You have a self-starter mentality, a strong sense of ownership, and an insatiable appetite for learning. 
  • Be able to think quickly on your feet, adapt to a highly variable environment, change scope and focus with ease.
  • You have spent a few years in a similar role and are ready to step up into a bigger challenge.

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing. 
  • Have a passion for brand, marketing, communications and design.
  • Be well-versed in both online and offline marketing programs.
  • Comfort with and excitement for engaging with clients and strategic partners. 
  • Have excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively.
  • The ability to create and deliver presentations, proposals, and other assets that clearly communicate an understanding of our clients, and Playbook’s proposition and values.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience telling compelling stories and possessing strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in a growth marketing role at a fast-paced company, agency experience is a plus.


  • Facebook & LinkedIn Ads and Google Adwords - demonstrated success in improving account performance on these platforms.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
