Job Description

We’re looking for an ambitious, highly motivated leader to develop and implement our content strategy for our European markets and for all of our channels (PR, social, CRM, SEO, etc.). We would love to have someone in our team with a natural passion for content. The perfect candidate is highly creative and at the same time analytical and is used to work with a data-driven and at the same time consumer-oriented approach. We are keen to find a candidate who enjoys working closely with other company stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams. He/She will lead to our content marketing team and will be responsible and accountable for the group’s content marketing strategy. He/She will guide and develop the data-driven implementation of our cross-platform (owned, shared, external) strategy for all of group brands and will be the person who integrates internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation and a compelling cross-platform editorial strategy, we want to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Lead the development of our content strategy (planning, setting goals, tactics, and budget)
  • Develop a cross-channel distribution strategy focusing on owned channels first (e.g. our website, social) and then external distribution (PR, CRM)
  • Research, develop, and launch new content products eg. Travel Tips community
  • Focus on high impact content, delivering significant value for our users (engagement, reach)
  • Ensure our strategy is in line with SEO goals, corporate OKRs, brand positioning, and business needs
  • Track content performance, develop relevant reports and take necessary steps to optimize our content and maximize the impact of our projects 
  • Build partnerships and be responsible for the integration of third-party content & products
  • Select and manage external creative and content agencies
  • Collaborate and cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure a cross-department implementation (e.g. with SEO, UX, Product, and Creative teams)
  • Manage, motivate and inspire an international team of content managers, content project managers, and content distribution managers
  • Ensure the overall quality of our content and assets being used in our channels



  • Communication or Marketing degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience leading and developing content marketing teams in an international e-commerce environment
  •  Deep understanding of different marketing channels (SEO, social, CRM …), content formats, and user behaviors. 
  • Data-driven approach and knowledge of the quantitative metrics to assess the impact of content marketing
  • Experience with production of content at scale (100+ content pieces/month) and for several different markets
  • Proven ability to work with Product and UX in order to implement innovative features and improve the content experience
  • Significant experience in managing external stakeholders and agencies
  • An experienced storyteller with  exceptional writing skills
  • Fluent in English, additional languages (German, Italian, French or Spanish) are a plus 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
