Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated individual to join our growing Curation Team. The ideal candidate has a natural passion for the mechanics of language, is highly creative, and an efficient researcher.

As our new Content Curator, you will be part of an existing project, working in an international team that produces inspirational and highly targeted blog posts. You will work on an innovative content platform creating new content formats based on User Generated Content (UGC), and help our traveller community grow.
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and curate highly inspirational blog posts based on UGC
  • Create unique content for our products, initiatives and different channels 
  • Research context and SEO keywords to create meaningful content and new concepts
  • Optimize existing content for better search ranking and overall performance and adapt content for different channels
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, re-purposing and retiring content
  • Track progress and measure the success of initiatives using qualitative and quantitative metrics

Qualifications

Essential

  • Exceptional storyteller, writer, and editor with a good dose of resilience
  • 3+ years of content management and writing experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, literature, marketing or communication 
  • Native English Speaker + second language (German, French, Spanish or Italian)

  • Ability to craft attractive and meaningful headlines, subheads, and summaries adhering to the product framework
  • Fast and efficient research capabilities mixed with creative approach
  • Willingness to understand and innovate within the product framework
  • High attention to detail and strong grasp of quality
  • A keen interest in decoding the connotations of words
  • A deep understanding of ‘inspirational content’
  • The ability to empathise with the audience
  • Self-driven, organized, with good time-management skills and can-do attitude
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines 
  • Highly collaborative and positive, open to feedback, and willing to learn

Desirable

  • Previous experience in e-commerce
  • Understanding of digital marketing, in particular: SEO and CRM channels
