Job Description

Are you willing to generate an impact on a product that is used by millions of users across multiple devices on a daily basis?

We have a daily challenge, which is to reach more than 60 million unique users (in 17 languages ​​and 40 countries) who want to book and personalize their next travel experience. For this reason, we are looking for software engineers who are passionate about challenges such as creating a modern, scalable and resistant platform.

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to our customer’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond selling flights. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. 

We give you autonomy over the software you build and offer you the freedom to choose the right tool for the job.

You’ll Spend Time On The Following:

  • Collaborating with product managers and other engineers to create the best experience for your customers.

  • Ensuring operational excellence of your services.

  • Understanding how our business work and how products add value to your customers.

  • Learning and sharing experiences on new technologies and trends and how you can leverage them in current and future products.

  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with others across the group.

By the way, We are using a microservices architecture hosted both in public and private clouds.

  • Our work language is English! So it is paramount to be fluent both written and spoken. 

It would be great if you had these desirable Skills/Experience:

  •  Java and/or Kotlin.

  •  Is a plus if you have working knowledge on Spring Boot, Docker or  Kubernetes.

  •  Experience with resilient distributed architecture.

  •  Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation.

  •  Worked on large scale web applications.

  •  Leverage and contribute to open source.

  •  Previous experience in startups or product companies.
