Job Description

Jetcost is looking for a Digital Content Manager for its Operations team based in Chiasso.

The ideal candidate has a natural passion for communication and content creation, is highly creative and aware of the power of communication to drive results and inspire people's behaviors.
A passionate and meticulous approach is fundamental to transform such creativity into measurable actions to serve the right content to users in any part of the funnel and through the different traffic acquisition channels.

As our new Digital Content Manager you will be part of an international and cross functional team, you will implement and oversee all marketing content initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagement, retention, leads and positive customer behavior. 

With your team, you will be responsible for the execution related to content and channel optimization (SEO, SMM), brand consistency, analytics and meaningful measurement.

Your responsibilities will include the successful implementation of our user-centric Content Strategy, working closely with the specialists being responsible for our Traffic Acquisition to distribute multi-channel campaigns, and reaching correspondent KPIs always bearing in mind that our common goal is to entertain, inspire, inform and assist our users.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create unique content for our products, initiatives and different channels
  • Ensure the publication of high-quality content that is in line with our content strategy and our short-term and long-term marketing goals
  • Optimize existing content for better search ranking and overall performance and adapt content for different channels
  • Understand the requirements and specifications of our content projects and work on briefings to onboard all stakeholders, manage the workflow and ensure a smooth implementation of the projects throughout all stages.
  • Track performance and progress using qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure the success of your initiatives
  • Prove the success of our content projects by following up with reports on their performance
  • Communicating in a straight forward, clear, concise way with internal teams and external contacts

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5+ years of content management and writing experience 
  • 3+ years of experience with SEO and internet content writing
  • Exceptional storyteller, writer, and editorialist
  • Excellent understanding of content marketing, demand generation, and the customer life cycle
  • Ability to deliver and convey measurable results using digital marketing analytics and tools
  • Exceptional understanding of how to optimize content for success on different platforms: formats, copy, metrics, KPI

Desirable

  • Experience in travel and/or e-commerce
  • Basic understanding of Technical SEO
