Job Description

Forward is looking for a Senior Digital Media Planner for its Media Department. 

The Senior Digital Media Planner handles the digital spend and negotiations across Forward’s clients.

In this role you will be responsible for negotiating, managing and planning digital media buys associated with one or more assigned clients. Your role will consist in creation, planning, optimisation, reporting and analysis of digital campaigns in our markets worldwide. You will develop campaign approach and structure, help formulate product proposition and pricing for the client, provide advice on strategy and tech solutions. You will provide strategic market insights, trends and pricing benchmarks, oversight, and management of spending while monitoring client budgets and controlling KPIs. 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain insights on objectives, KPIs, strategies, audiences, to ensure tactical buys deliver against goals
  • Strategically align the digital media plans across all channels
  • Participate and help in vendor RFP selection and process (all digital channels, where applicable)
  • Work with Data team to understand all aspects of client’s audiences
  • Proactive in following up on sales/client team requests with a key awareness of client KPIs and deadlines
  • Working with marketing team to create data and media packages to offer the best value to clients
  • Shares knowledge with sales team and clients of new opportunities or issues
  • Participates and leads, if applicable, face to face client and sales meetings
  • Understands general activation capabilities of all available display/social/mobile/CTV/OOH media tactics
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, understanding funnel conversion rates and channels to suggest optimizations
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns metrics for delivery and KPIs; provide detailed reports and analysis on campaign delivery and performance and reports to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years’ related experience in Digital Media Planning
  • Proficient in English
  • Skilled at preparing a consistent online media plan, considering all requirements and a given budget
  • Above average Excel literacy proficiency
  • Excellent web/media analytics and reporting
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally as well as with those outside the team

Desirable

  • Experience with Social Media – Metrics, KPIs, Targeting
  • Any experience in Biddable area, experience with DSPs (DV360, Adform) will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of Digital media tools capabilities, programmatic execution, verification vendors, and data partners
  • Knowledge of mobile, video, Audience Data Collecting / Tracking; Audience Targeting best practices, ad serving solutions
  • Experience in troubleshooting ad related issues
  • Experience with data management platforms
